There are programs that allow you to pay a little more for your electricty that promise that the amount of electricity you use will be produced by a windmill and put back on the grid. You can’t deduct it as a donation, you don’t get a return on the investment, but green makes us feel good. So are you doing this? why or why not?

I have always facied working as an electrician is my dream now impossible?
I am now 48 years old stuck in a dedend job and constantly try for other work.
Being a keen diy person i have tackled some small electrical jobs in the home and found the work interesting (when the work was still legal, UK law now changed making a lot of tasks now illegal)
Could i still live this dream any idears or am i to old to train up and get a job?
