i am in the high voltage technology course in OSU, The cos varies on what college you go to, do research and find what colleges offer courses in electrical engineering. the cost for me living off campus is $1,740 per semester and the books usually run about 75-100 dollars per semester. It is a growing industry and although i am going into lineman work, electrical engineering is also a great paying career. We have some who are studying electrical engineering in our class and they love it. you are making the right choice keep at it and don’t give up.
It depends on the college or univ you attend. Public schools are cheaper, private a lot more. So you can be looking at 6000 to 24,000 a year.
3-4 yrs and that is if you just want an undergrad degree. More for a masters.
what do you mean by cost of tranning, to be an engineer with the title P Eng / Ir, that person have to be a graduate engineer. It can be Bachelor/Master in Engineering or Science..
Tranning/exp of 4 ~ 6 years will qualified them to register as a Professional Engineer or Ir ( Insiniour, in some country )..
