How do I be come an electrician?
if you live in england, and need elecrical wiring please go to my channel and leave a contact number. thankyou
I’ve watched crews mess with transmission lines (the lines that feed the substations, not the 15KV that come off the sub and feed the neighborhood transformers) and just watching them so danged high up on a single pole lift in a basket with all that rubber on gives me the willies and I’ve worked up to 7200vac in the past on military equipment. No way I want their job especially after watching them during our last ice storm. I dont want to die that easily, or painfully
“Flip off the breaker”?? Does that mean giving it the middle finger? LOL.
compa were is your safety glasses or any p.p.e.
And don’t forget to remove metal jewelry…..
If the main breaker is off, then I fail to see how you would get an arc flash when replacing a breaker. This video should make the importance of making sure the main breaker is off more clear, as other youtube videos do. Obviously safety is very important, but it needs to be kept in perspective. Most (if not all) residential boxes simply are not going to have 5kv volts in them.
I’m more worried about someone getting electrocuted. As you know there is still power present from the can even though the main breaker is off. I’ve seen this guy’s other videos, he is unsafe, and doesn’t even know how to properly wire a receptacle….
Well you should always varify that with a meter. There have been many instances, one within my company where not all the poles were actually disconnected when the main breaker was switched off. it was on a 3phase 600v MCCB, an apprentice was flashed, but not injured luckily.
This is a good way to get unqualified people injured or dead…. and where is your safety equipment? No meter or anything either. Please don’t try this at home!!
I think it’s safer to test the wires first even after turning the main switch off…..something he didn’t do
