How long is Electrician’s mate “A” school in the NAVY?

    when did it it was 8 weeks BEE and 12 weeks EM A school. They may have consolidated it now like everything else though. I also think you have to do 2-3 week engineering core school. This is something new for all engineering ratings.

    “A”School is about 4 months (16 weeks), but you have to go through BEE (Basic Electronics and Electricity) first and that course is self paced (about 6 weeks).

    i know the nuclear power a school is 6 months, but then you have 6 months of power school and 6 months of prototype after that. if it’s the non-nuclear electrician’s mate a school, it’s probably between 3-6 months. the non nuke a school is up in great lakes, the nuke one is in charleston sc.
