If you hire a contractor any where from $80 to $110 per hour. I charge $45 an hour when I do side jobs.

  2. Cheryl E says:

For an electrician you will pay around 25-35 per hour plus utilities depending upon the job. The only people who make 50 and up per hour are plumbers. If an electrician is telling you they want that much tell them to go to h—. Always get 2 estimates for every job. Never just take one guys word on it. All contractors are out to make the most money they can out of every job. Can you blame them?

Master electricians get about $50 to 60 dollars an hour. Journeyman about $25.00. If it’s only a bunch of small jobs see if the journeyman will give you a fixed price to do them all in a day, plus materials

a licensed electrician in CT is about $90 an hour

  5. Ro-bot says:

Probably about $60 to $80 an hour, plus materials.
