Well, I’ve looked over the wiring and actually running it seems simple enough, the wiring is already there but is in desperate need of replacement. Only problem is I’m looking over wiring at the local hardware store and are unsure of what wiring to get. Electrical work is something I always want to be careful with because a simple yet costly mistake could result in something worse, like a house fire. So I always want to make sure I got it right, I don’t want to get the wrong kind and overload it, but also I don’t want to get something way more than I need and just spend all my Money, so whats the perfect type of wiring should be looking for to tackle this job? By the way in case this matters its a 3 prong Outlet with the Red Black White setup if that helps anyone.
I intend going to Grad school to get a masters degree in Construction engineering and Management, but I have a problem with the issue of its prospects for a Black man.
I will appreciate if anyone can share experiences that could help me decide on the way forward.
I have used the tester at the breaker box and I know that I have Ohms coming from the breaker labeled 15.
I did replace the breaker, but I know that it is not the exact same brand and type but the electrical store said that it would be interchangeable. (any ideas if i put the wrong one in?)
As to to omany things on one breaker I understand that, but the dishwasher I’m not sure that I will use. It is old and it’s just me..so I can wash the few dishes I have.
I know the outside outlet needs to be changed without a doubt. I just don’t know anything about GFI to know exactly what I should be asking. I don’t have resets on any of the outlets………………. Omg, I just thought of one of the outlets I just found that didn’t work…it’s the one in the hallway and it had a reset.. I just reset it and I have electricity in both bathrooms. Come to find out..the dishwasher is on the breaker that was bad and it was the one I had replaced. The bathrooms are on a different breaker than the dishwasher. Thank you again for the help.
Oh yeah, lol…the dishwasher is working now. 
It Would Be Nice To See/Understand The Madness Behind The Method That The Electrician Who Wired My 1953 Rambler Used..
Im 28 Married and looking to join and become a mason carpenter to further my building career. Ive been placed on psychiatric holds and was not diagnosed with anything. I wanted to know if this would disqualify me from joining. I would also like to know where my wife would be during this time would I be able to be with her while im training or in school? Will she be able to live on or of base with me? Will i be able to have a place for her where I can come to her when im not working? Im not sure how Married people do things in the National Gaurd. What type of Physical shape do you have to be in to start, should I be able to run a marathon to join or just be within a weight hight limit? And finally what kind or drug and alcohol test must you pass in order to singn and join.
“Opening a can of worms” Who is Responsible for a problem if you where the last one to touch it, but did not cause the problem? I was doing work for someone, installing an appliance and warned then of a potential problem with GFCI or ground fault interupt circuit being tripped. I asked if he had the outlet on that type of circuit but he was certain that he did not. I looked around the basement to be sure. I did not find a GFCI. 3 Seconds after turning on the appliance the power goes out!!! We check the breakers, look for a tripped circuit, check all the wires, the basement, the house, the machines on the circuit. I asked if he had a plan for the layout of his electrical system, but her did not.
The machine I was installing, can not hurt a normal system, or damage the electrical system but Will trip a GFCI outlet. We could not find it but I knew thats what it was.

Which would be a better choice if I went with Lineman schooling wouldnt cost anything other than paying for the books, both jobs pay pretty good I am not sure how hard it is to find a job for an engineer but it shouldn’t be that hard, Lineman jobs would be pretty easy being in the ibew, so what should I do at some point after school I want to join the army or marines do college graduates make any more than non graduates I know I would probely like the lineman job better but engineer would probely pay better after some expeirence and I could join the military as an officer. Sorry for all the blabing just don’t know what to do.
