    Cherokee Vs. Blazer
You’d Probably be happy with both choices,
I don’t have too much experience with Blazers so I cant say too much there
But the Jeep 4.0L is very powerful, very nice power delivery through the rpms,
and has proved itself extremely capable offroad. Have you tried the explorer

One of the reasons I picked the Explorer is because they will generally be MUCH Cheaper than the Jeeps. Around here, Jeeps go for a lot more money than the Explorers. You can get a much nicer X for the same price if not less than a Cherokee. The Interior Space of the X is quite a bit larger than the Cherokee and Blazer for your work tools. More passenger room, and a lot more cargo room in the back (dogs) As far as wheeling goes, my stock 2000 X does just as good as my room-mates 2001 stock Cherokee Sport. It seems to me that the Jeeps are built a little more cheaply than the Explorers, and you will find the X’s to be a little more luxury orientated than the Cherokees. GL

Jeep Grand Cherokee and you would have lesser problems with it.
