I have an associates degree in electrical engineering technology. I have worked as an electronics tech for 3 years and I would like to go back to school in hopes of becoming an electrical engineer.

I am not sure if I can afford to go to a 4 year university and was considering taking community college courses instead. Will this be a waste of my money? What courses should I take?

I’m thinking about joining the military in part for trade training that is transferable to civilian side.
