He doesn’t have health insurance outside of work, and since the injury happened at home and wasn’t work related, they won’t pay for the surgery. If he doesn’t get his hand operated on, they said he could lose the ability to use his wrist fully and have severe arthritis.

He also will not be able to work, and will have to give up his career as an electrician. He just started going to school and got into the union.

What are some options?
