I am 26 years old I finished electrical school in 2007 3.37 GPA. I learned motor, commercial & residential wiring and piping and some computer it was hands on, was a hands on learning school . After I left school I had a hard time finding a job. I think I do not like commercial & residential wiring. This type of school was for an A class license. What other type of electrical jobs are out there that pay 40 to 50 k a year or some where around there {I no I will not make that right off the bat} I do not think I could be an electrical engineer. What type of jobs are available utilizing the type of education I have ? I am more comfortable working with low voltage jobs than high voltage jobs … can you recommend some types jobs where I could apply my skill sets or personal Experience in the field that would be help full

I am looking for a part time job in a field related to Electrical Engineering to gain experience. My major is Electrical Engineering, i am in my second year of college. I have a job as a part time bank teller but i am interested in something related to my field. Are there any jobs that can be done with a high school diploma and is related to Electrical Engineering? Any requirements? I live in Miami, FL.

In his weekly radio address, Obama highlighted his administration’s commitment to clean energy technology, including solar and wind power. He said it would translate in to hundreds of thousands of new jobs by 2012, when he faces re-election.

“There is perhaps no industry with more potential to create jobs now — and growth in the coming years — than clean energy,” said Obama, who did not attend the rally.

If this cleans energy thing is such an obvious gold mine, don’t you think astute American investors would be putting private funds to work. Would you hire Obama as your financial adviser?

I’m trying to choose a major. I’m interested in media, music, TV, Radio, Studio etc.
Can you tell me what these majors do and what do they do in the job industry? Also the chances of getting a job in that field. Yeah, it’s a lot but whatever you don’t know you don’t have to say or if you don’t feel like saying all just say a few or what you know. =)

Speaking from personal experience.I don’t understand the push for everybody to go to college. There are other types of education that are equally worthwhile pursuing. I hate the fact straight out of HS two years ago, that is my field I studied for 3 1/2 in HS (graphic communications) is literally dying.(printing press jobs are no where to find.) my friend dropped out of high school, became a trainee electrician after doing some government course, and by 19 was working in Sweden making huge money. I know my medical science degree will pan out, but a buddy of mine(mike) is stuck working at a grocery store because education is very hard for him to concept but his trade skills are off the chain.

Why isn’t the government trying to help kids like me find jobs?

I am Renjith Kumar an Indian national working in Kuwait with US Army Contractor CSA LTD, at US Army Camp, Arifjan , Kuwait. I am working as a Senior Electronic Engineering Associate for the last 8 years.I am expertise in trouble shooting , repairing and serviceing of all Night Visions and Electronic/Radio(SINCGARS) used by the US Force.
Is there any chance for me to get a Job in Honeywell as a Night Vision/Electroni/Radio Technician, or with any other US Companies in US or Outside of US.

Why do Conservatives hate Clean Energy, Green Jobs, and the Environment?

All I hear from Conservatives & Republicans is their hatred of Al Gore’s environmentalist campaigns, hatred of the movie “An Inconvenient Truth”, hatred of Hybrid cars, hatred of wind farms, hatred of alternative energy, hatred of solar power, and the propagating of the false belief that global warming doesn’t exist.

The reason is because the Big Oil industry, whose lobbyists fund Republican Congressmen, trickle-down this propaganda to their constituents (you Conservatives), having you believe that global warming is a myth and that we shouldn’t pursue clean energy.

It’s no different than the “scientists” that Big Tobacco companies pay to go in front of Congress or the Supreme Court and lie that smoking doesn’t cause lung cancer.
