My husband is an Electrician for 20+ years in Arizona. Next month we will be moving to Ohio. Does Anyone have input on the best area to live for his work background. We are trying to get away from big cities and like more of a country living area. We do like New Philadelphia area, but there are not many jobs there. We do not mind an hour drive to get places as we are very used to that if not more. Also looking for a house to rent for under 00 per month. I run a EBay Business from home and we have 2 children 13 and 12, and a Lhasa 19 month old baby. Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

What exactly do you have to do to become an Electrician Apprentice in Northeast Ohio? My math has never been that great and I’ve been out of high school for about 4 years now. I’ve never been that great at measurements. I’ve never been in shop, but I’m a fast learner and I can do anything I put my mind to. I’m wondering what math classes I should look into to get me on the right track, along with more information about beginning an apprenticeship as an Electrician. Thanks for all your help.

Is Ohio less strict than other States. I had an apprentice card while working. To work alone on job sight here, you need a journeyman’s licenses, and Master plumber to approve your work. It takes five years of school and work to get that licenses. Joe said he worked six and planed to buy the business. Just wondering if my hillbilly state is more strict than Ohio?

Schools are required to get State Permits for any structures, plumbing, electrical, etc. But it has been stated that they are exempt from obtaining local zoning permits. Is this correct? Is there a state law concerning this?

HI my name is michael and i am a part of an organization for free energy . And we would like to know . If Obama has given any thought on giving out grants . Or some financial support for home owners to install solar or wind power . So they can be energy independent . We have ask the new ohio state govenor if he was going to give out grants . Or some financial support we have not heard from him in over a week now . And it was the old govenor who used the tax payers money . To make the govenors mansion solar powered and then received an awarded for doing this . So if something like this would happen for the home owner . Do you know how many new jobs there woud be in the united states . but all we hear is we need to spend millions on this and millons on that but not a thing for the public . And it is all for the energy companies . And the ohio state govenor is going to give the energy companies $11.9 million of tax payers money . To up grade the power plant to burn dirty coal . We would like to get your response on this , So we can post it on the web page along with the ohio govenors responses and the house of representatives and congress men reponses .
