i failed out of high school, with nothing in my name, and in this day and age every job is co-dependent on high school grades & experience,
so i redoing back math past papers from 00′s to 11 (present)
but i was wondering, if i may need a teachers teachings? i have the internet to assist me to learn & i know some brilliant math people that could help me out too, if i needed help (i wanna do it myslef)

ive worked a fair share of work in my day, *by the way i finished high school in 2010* ive worked in numerous very hard working low paying jobs such as a carpenter, assistant mechanic, a part time plumbing/electrician basically a handy guy!
i really dont mind the work but the pay is ridiculous 00 per week is the most i ever got in my life
i cant keep living with that salary but then again so ive been told countless times “everyone starts somewhere”
when my friends see me what ive been doing for a job they look down on me,
cuz i was the coolest guy in high school *not boasting* with tons of friends, when i entered a room girls turned there heads to me, my friends where jealous (im not kidding) but i respected them and had admiration for everyone of them & i had the prettiest girlfriend in school (we broke up now :/) mostly everyone wanted to hang out with me, some teachers hated me i was like a star, i never picked on anyone by the way, since then life has took the downfall on me, family life not what it use to be, not so much friends, and being such a dumb failure in life

life after high school is bitter,
and i want to become a graphic designer or a music journalist, or a teacher

this is a very serious question and I purposely chose the marriage & divorce category as I felt people who were randomly dating wouldn’t be of assistance.

I don’t want anyone to think this is under my influence but my boyfriend needs and wants a better job. We’ve recently moved in together and granted the bills are paid and things are being taken care of but more than ever we are discussing marriage, children, buying our first home etc etc and there is no doubt in either of our minds that these things will never happen, they are all very much apart of our future together but both of our concerns is that while our combined income is 102 thousand of which 66% of that is my income and if push came to shove he wouldn’t be able to carry the household on his job alone. Just so that we are clear… this is something that he has mentioned to me on several occasions, I have never said directly or indirectly to him that he needs to make any changes in his job or otherwise (this is actually the first time I’ve even mentioned the subject)

Anyhow, I completely understand that there is always a “bread winner” in the family however without any push or complaint from me he’s expressed the desire to do better and not just for me but for himself and our future which I love and admire him so much for but here is the problem… He’s 34 and has worked for 12 years as an outside cable tech for an independent contracting company that works for a major cable company (outside meaning he does all the outside cable lines, telephone poles, underground wiring etc etc. like he would never come to your house and reboot your box sort of thing) He also has an associates degree in liberal arts as well as some kind of software certificate but honestly we have no clue what he can or should do? About 9 years ago he became what is considered a senior tech so there really isn’t anywhere else to go within his current job. He has all the knowledge and know how and as far as pay is concerned he’s reached the highest salary allocated for a contracted tech. Ideally he would love to be an electrician but that’s about 3/5 years worth of studying and we need and want to start the preparations for our future now (i.e. we need money) as we hope to be married in the next 2 years and start a family (I mean he’s 34 and Im 27, not to say time is running out but its not exactly on our side here) so he’s thinking of joining the army which Im really not to thrilled about. Honestly can someone please give me some incite here. I mean anything he decides to do even if its means keeping his same job is fine by me I’ll support anything he wants to do but I have to admit although Ive always said to him, we’ll be smart with our savings and decisions, etc and never let him know otherwise but my greatest fear is when or if we get married and do start a family and I take time off (if I can) to raise the kids or God forbid if he ever gets injured at work (because if he doesn’t work he doesn’t get paid… nor does he have any sort of 401K) we wont have the money to maintain ourselves. I mean my salary is more than enough for now but when you think of the cost of raising a family and we live modestly and I know there are many that survive on less but when it comes to family life, etc women sacrifice so much that as the bread winner I don’t want to be in a position where I would have to choose between taking that extra month with my newborn or not having children at all nor do I want a husband that feels that he cant provide for me or our family and this in no way has anything to do with him being insecure I just think it has a lot to do with his morals and values instilled in him by his parents and family dynamics.

Please don’t ridicule our situation as love should be enough but honestly its not. These are serious issues that maybe some don’t take the time to discuss and / or sort out before they make life long decisions. We both just want our happily ever after and I don’t mean like a Cinderella fantasy or a life complete of material possessions, we just don’t want to have to struggle and worry (which I know is a reality) but we don’t want to drown in life.
oh should I mention that we live in New York City

Ok so my parents have always been dumb with money. The blow everything they make and never save anything. Well we live in a trailer cuz they have horrible credit. They recently got good jobs making good money and went crazy. They bought 2 motorcyles, a hayabusa and a yamaha… dont know why my dad needs two… a jet ski, 4 wheeler for my little brother, sleep number bed, and got a 06 bmw x5 and they havent paid off anything so they make payments on everything… never put a down payment on anything and have HIGH interest rates. well my mom lost her good job like 8 months ago. And got a job making 17 an hour but 25 hours a week. And now 3 months ago my dad lost his job and still hasnt found anything. Well they have ALWAYS came to me for money and I still live there. I am 22 and I am just now finished school and passed my test for a journeyman electrician. Well in the past, I have given them about 5,000 in cash that they said they would pay back (never happened) and then they came and asked me for a 1,000 more and i said no my dad got pissed kicked me out but i was back in about a week. Well now i have let them use my credit card for what they said 500 and it turned into 4,000! They are paying the bill monthly but still i hate having that in my name. Well the other day they went and traded in my moms06 bmw AND my dads truck for a brand new bmw x5! Cost 50,000 and they are having to pay about 45,000 of that cuz of course they owed a lot on their vehicles. Well the other day they asked me to pay the electric bill 500 bucks! I did cuz I do live there and I dont want to start a big thing again. I am so different than them I SAVE all my money and I make pretty good so I do have a lot (they dont know how much I have) but I am doing this so I can get out! i need to get out now cuz i cant save any more money for a house becuase they are always asking for money and i am so mad. it makes me have a hate for them. well there are only 2 houses i like on the market right now. one is in a subdivision 2 houses from the highway (i dont like that at all) but its a really nice house with good bedrooms and big living room. the oter house i like is one a culdesac road which i love but the rooms are small and the living room is not as big as the other one! I dont know what I should do. I really need to get out because I feel like my parents take advantage of me and they cant freaking make it without me… well they can but they would have to get rid of all the crap they waste their money on. I hate that they just rely on me to pay for things… it hurts and pisses me off at the same time. they know it makes me mad but they choose not to get rid of anything and keep asking me. I have a good job, I have money saved up and can put 20% down on a home and still have thousands for back up money, I have paid off my truck, and I HAVE BEEN APPROVED for these houses!! Anyway what should I do? Just get one of those houses and get the heck out of there or wait for a better house to come along????… which who knows it might take months!! I know this was long but thanks so much for actually reading it!! I need some advice…
dont even answer this question if your answer is pointless to me. and yes i posted this question already but i didnt explain myself well enough in the other one. If you dont have any GOOD advice for me then just skip this and answer it, its just stupid to write something so ignorant on here that doesnt help me at all.

On to college, being a radiologic technologist doesn’t require a huge amount of college. Knowing computers is an additional thing I found that was important in this line of employment, this is because working the x-ray machine includes working with circuit boards, processors, electronic equipment, computer hardware and computer software. This topic is something I could defiantly learn a lot about. Two years, or an associates degree at a technical school is needed. During these two years my class load would be heavy, some students prefer to space the courses out and go to college for 3 years (Radiologic Technologists and Technicians). Things studied during college are radiation protection, pathology, patient care procedures and medical ethics among other things. After college, you can become certified or licensed by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, certification will help you when applying for a job. To get this certification I would have to pass an exam on everything I learned in college (How To Be an X-Ray…). Another helpful piece of advice I’ve found was that to get more experience you should train or take an intern ship at a hospital , or enlist in an accredited radiography program (How To Be an X-Ray…).
I think when looking for a job or researching a career you should look for one that you already have the personality traits for considering it is hard to change your personality. One trait I think is common sense is, caring for people and being a people person. Through out the day in this field you are helping people, trying to make them less in pain, help them know what is wrong, or talking to various doctors and medical personal. So being someone who can get along with a lot of people would greatly help in this occupation. This is something I feel I would be good at because I enjoy being around people and am a people person. Also I have found out that time management is a good skill or trait to have as an x-ray technologist (Radiologic Technologist). You need to keep in mind at all times the other injured patients waiting to be taken care of. Next I think another skill that goes hand-in-hand with time management is coordination. Career Zone explains this skill as “adjusting actions in relation to others’ actions”. Two more personality traits that I think easily relate to one another are being able to think critically and being able to instruct others easily. The first, critical thinking or logic, is needed when comparing and contrasting individual solutions and outcomes. Critical thinking is needed to instruct others, every situation will be different working in this field (Radiologic Technologist). For example, one day you may be instructing a little boy with a broken arm how to waterproof his cast before showering, where as the next day you could be informing an elderly lady about her broken ankle. Overall I think I have these skills but if I do plan on being a radiologic technologist I should work on my instruction skills.
So far this seems like a rewarding career but when exploring this job I have found two other jobs that are rather thought-provoking, for one, a radiation therapist. People in this career make about the same salary as an x-ray technologist, have more schooling but can provide radiation therapy. These professionals can still take x-rays though (Radiation Therapists). This job sounds nice but an radiologic technologist still sounds better. The next job I came across that I was curious about was a nuclear medicine technologist. People in this career most times have to get a bachelors degree and have a slightly higher salary. Nuclear medicine technology is not about bones and the human body, which is what I’m interested in. This career involves more knowledge, diagnostics, and radiation therapy of the blood, cells, fat and muscles (Nuclear Medicine Technologist). Both of these careers would be more striking if I wanted to broaden my radiologic technologist career.
Even after my research of a radiologic technologist, I have still do not have a great idea of what I want to be when I get out of high school. Radiologic technology has proven to me it is a very interesting field with a lot of room for growth but I’m still not totally convinced that this is the job for me.
its an i-search paper, i am supposed to use ‘I”.

This sounds AMAZING, after reading it do you think this is a real possibility and how many jobs world wide could it create? Since the U.S. Government funded the initial research wouldn’t it strengthen the country economically and as well as make the U.S. the world’s leading energy provider one way or another? What do you all think?
Here’s a quote
The scientists behind the technology, which has been developed in research funded by the US government, say that generating power in this way would potentially cost only around 3.5p per kilowatt hour, compared to about 4.5p for wind energy and between 10p and 31p for solar power. They say the technology would require up to 50 times less ocean acreage than wave power generation.http://www.telegraph.co.uk/earth/energy/…
Also at 3.5 per KWH it’s cheaper according this this table than any other major energy source

If it happens to be that you search the web for info about eliminating an average winter electric bill then by all means listen to what we have to say – your bank account will thank you for it! Most of us get our power supply from the electric company; however, there is a secret way that can supply all your needs direct from mother nature amazingly easily and yes, inexpensively.

You may find it very hard to believe, but the fact of the matter is that anybody can take advantage of the new technology and create their own electricity, and without being ‘married’ to any local or national power company. Try to envision this – freedom from expensive bills for a staple such as electricity, just a vast supply of naturally-produced energy which will keep your home running efficiently.

Before you begin your research on eliminating an average winter electric bill; you have to realize, for your own financial well-being, that there is a way which is already adopted by a great number of citizens of the united states and indeed of the world that allows you to decrease your power bills by an amazing 80%, often doing away with them entirely. It’s likely that you are now curious as to what this is really about; it’s just a question of tapping into abundant energy sources – taking natural energy sources and transforming them into electricity, on your own property in almost no time and with no outside help required. And that’s not all. here’s the best part – it’s easy to do, although you probably aren’t an electrician or a technician and even if the subject of electricity leaves you “in the dark.”

So while you continue educating yourself about eliminating an average winter electric bill, prepare yourself for another amazing fact – with this special way, you are helping the planet by using renewable energy and in addition, you can even make the electric company pay you for your self-produced energy. Just picture turning on your air conditioner or your heaters as desired without thinking about the next payment, and even getting paid for the extra energy you produce. Does this sound impossible? Go ahead and give in to your curiosity – look into this further; I am certain you’ll be every bit as amazed as i was.
