My son received an electric shock at school burning his hand..?

I received a call from school that my 17 yr old had unplugged his computer charger from the outlet at school and the outlet caught fire and shocked my son knocking him to his knees and burning his hand. I went to school and he was in nurses office and she assured me he was fine and to take him home for the rest of the day. I did so and after we had been home my son stated that he thought maybe the school should check all the outlets since all the students have laptops provided by the school and they plug them in at school. He stated he didn’t want it to happen to another student and have it be fatal.
So I proceeded to follow up the next day at the school and asked for an accident report and wanted to look at the outlet and class room where he was shocked. the principal told me that it was probably a bad charger on the computer (which the school supplies) and we entered the classroom and the outlet had been replaced but the wall was black and burnt. my son said the outlet melted and had caught fire. I asked the teacher if he thought the computer charger was faulty and he said no it was the outlet.
The charger exploded from the voltage and was taken by the teacher according to my son. The principal asked me what I was wanting and he felt that my son wouldn’t of been electrocuted from a 110 outlet.
I stated that I didn’t want anything but for them to check the outlets in school with a licenced electrician to prevent this from happening again. He stated that he didn’t see a need for that cuz it was only in the one classroom and if another outlet was faulty a breaker would trip and eliminate the chance of it happening again.
Do I go to the school board to make sure this is completed or do I jus let it go???? There are 600 students and they all have computers and they all plug them in on a daily basis. Thank you

I am an electrician, I was taught in electrical school, a minor shock the passes through the heart….?

may not kill you but could damage your heart and cause you to die of a heart attack days later.

I have been shock probably 400 times with zero ill effects. Today i had a checkup at my doctors he said he had never heard of someone dieing from a heart attack caused by an electric shock days before.

MY question is where can i find stats for such things or is any one here heard of the type of death i speak of
