It’s taken a while, but a certified electrician has finally been hired by the landlord to fix up the wiring and such.
They started the work sometime on Thursday, but quit for the weekend, now they’re working again.

This apartment, I’ve seen it, needs quiet a bit or work done to it. But soon as the wiring is set up and he has his fridge hooked up, he’s moving there, and Mum and I can be alone again.

So how much longer will I have to wait?

I turn 18 in January and graduate at the end of this coming school year. I’m hoping to have a job doing an apprenticeship as an electrician by this time next year. I have a truck right now but its old and its got alot of miles. I was wondering if anyone would be able to tell me if I would be able to take out a loan next spring or early summer. I will be 18 but I’m not really sure how all of that works. Would I have to be making a certain amount of money, or what. I would be able to have probably around ,000 for the down payment on a newer used truck, and I was planning on taking out a loan for between ,000 and ,000. Thanks for any advice anyone can give me.

You ned to do a five year apprenticeship where you get paid practically nothing.

In the USA I hear all you have to do is a 2 year course or some such and you can work in the trades.

getting a job that would pay better than, for example, retail, and allow you to advance your skills and earn much higher rates of pay.
