The transformer says ‘CAT. NO. 319′ & 115 volts, 40 cycles

Generally the set appears to be in extremely good condition. I’ve been told that it was the last train Marx made before being absorbed by some other company, but I’ve no idea if this is true or not.

Thanks

I have 2 1/2 years of college schooling as a heavy equipment operator, no degree but a certification. I’m currently attending an electrical apprenticeship program. I have a CDL Class A. And… a mortgage – not married – no children. I’ve done quite a bit of research on my own… It appears the CDL jobs keep disappearing and the electrical jobs are non-existant. My company is losing work right and left. Any advice would be much welcomed.

I heard that in most non-union shops your not even really an apprentice as much as you are cheap labor and that apprentice’s in the Union get way better training. Is it worth it to just wait until the apprenticeship council has an intake and then get into the union or should I just begin working Non-Union? I know the logical answer would be to start working non-union until I get in – but I just hear that it sucks so bad that there’s no point unless I’m desperate.

http://articles.moneycentral.msn.com/Col… The article is about an MSN Money report on what a Mother is worth if you add up her job descriptions and hours worked, such as housekeeper, day care center teacher, cook, computer operator, laundry machine operator, janitor, facilities manager, van driver, CEO and psychologist.

What about the Dad? What are his job descriptions, and what’s his hours and worth? Such as landscaper, laborer (lifting boxes and stuff), Accountant, Stock Broker, Tax Agent, Attorney Pro Per, Car Mechanic, Chauffer, handyman, electrician, plumber, Arbitrator (settles arugments, evidence from “wait till your father gets home”), story teller, IT Support (trouble shoots all computer problems), detailer (like when you take the car in to be detailed), Cable guy (sets up all eletronics and tv stuff in house), dog walker, teacher ( my father was the one who took me to museums and explained stuff on weekend or helped with homework). Now I now some Dad’s are awful but so are some Mom’s. This is just about figuring out what a quintesential Dad is really worth to the kids and wife.
