Your local community college is the best start. To be honest I really don’t think any employer cares where you went to school, unless of course you went to something like Harvard or MIT. Employers are looking for people that can do the job. Community colleges are cheap and can get you a good start in your field. If you later decide you want to move on to something like electrical engineering you professors at the community college can advise you on what to do.
