What Political Party Do I Fit Into The Most?
ONLY REPUBLICAN OR DEMOCRAT!
I am completely against abortion (except for rape, incest,or the mother’s life is endangered)
I support same sex marriage
I support the death penalty
I oppose all unnecessary spending
I think education at the primary and secondary levels should be funded by the state and controlled by the states with very limited federal intervention.
I support investment in bettering infrastructure and more federal grants for higher level education.
I support full energy independence from all countries. ONLY USE AMERICAN RESOURCES! (oil, coal, wind, solar, nuclear, geothermal) I support all if its AMERICAN!
I support a flat tax of 15% on all income or government earnings.
I support incentives to companies that bring jobs back to the united states as well as some protectionist policies.
I am 100% against illegal immigration and want strict regulation and a huge crackdown on all employers of illegal aliens. I also want the construction of a strong border. I support LEGAL immigration 100%.
I support less government intervention in health care and more state level initiatives to work with in state health-care facilities and private insurers directly with some federal funding.
Where do you stand on 2nd Amendment?
EDIT: Then I suggest you are a Republican of the Barry Goldwater mold. We agree on most issues with those considered Moderate Conservatives. Before the Moral Majority took over the Republican party, most Republicans felt this way on most issues.
By the way, we plan to take back our Republican Party in 2010!
More Republican than Democrat. The only positions you hold that are kind of Democrat are 1) same-sex marriage (which most Democrats, including Obama, do not endorse) and 2) your emphasis on ‘buy American’ (not that GOPers don’t think this way, too, but it’s sort of the bottom line of left-wing union folks, and that’s why the Democrats so strongly push it).
Based on what you said you are a republican- contrary to popular belief, being part of a party doesnt mean you have to agree 100% with the party bosses or the rank and file either. Clearly we would disagree on gay marriage but then millions of democrats oppose it too.
Mostly republican…..remember, you don’t have to fall completely in step with any political party. I am a constitutionalist, yet, there are parts of that platform I don’t agree with. Learn to vote your conscience, not your party.
you my friend are a libertarian, you don’t want government intervention in your everyday life. Between rep or dem you are MUCH closer to a republican.
I agree with the first answer, I think you sound more Conservative, even though you do hold some Liberal ideas. Although I’m a Liberal myself, I respect almost all of your views, and I think you make some really good points.
Yes, of course the liberal speaker did want legal crackdown on minorities and false prophecies. This is all a combo of whats to come out of this new age Diplomat.
You sound a little more Republican than Democrat. I’d say you’re an intelligent Republican – a rare breed.
Republican, definitely.
I know you said R or D only, but you really do fit the bill of a libertarian
There are many centrists like you that can be found in either party. You may be interested to find out that Harry Reid is Pro-Life! It probably makes more sense for you to be one of those all important independent swing voters that determines every election: how much fun for you!
Lately the Republicans have lost many due to it’s pandering to the extremes, so I’d say that you are closer to the Dems right now, since it has a much wider umbrella. 30-40 years ago you were probably closer to the Republicans.
