  1. Harvey says:

    Screwdrivers:
    robertson, all sizes
    Phillips, all sizes
One large flat (beater), and a small one.
    microscrewdrivers for finishing/thermostats, etc…
    Good linesman pliers
    side cutters
    needle nose pliers
    wire strippers
    Conduit reamer
    half round bastard file
    good tape measure
    hacksaw
    felt marker/pen/pencils
    notepad
    ticker
    flashlight
    receptical tester (gfi and normal)
    power drill
    drill bits
    driver bits (short and long)
    magnetic torpedo level
pump pliers (also called channel locks)
adjustable wrenches (small medium and large)
Optional tools (maybe you don’t need them, or your employer supplies them)
    knockout punch kit
    unibit/step bit
    socket set
    torque wrench
    tri-tap threading tool
reciprocating saw (very handy for all sorts of things)
    miners headlamp
In addition to these I have a few others, such as an impact fastener, a thread repair tool, and a few other odds and ends. I don’t have a knockout set yet as they’re hundreds of dollars and I’m not required to at this point.

    hack saw
    linesmans pliars
    side cutters
    wire strippers
    screw drivers(mainly the red robby)
    hammer

    and channel locks
    and torpedo level
make sure you have these so you don’t look like an idiot on your first day
