    Apprentice programs are often difficult to get. Definitely fill out for it. There are some apprenticeships that only put in 2 students a year. My dad did an apprenticeship in Carpentry when he was young (he’s now retired), and ultimately had to move down to Maryland where he was offered a slot. After a few years of working, he moved the family back to central Pennsylvania, though. The apprenticeship programs are even harder to get accepted into now, which is one of the reasons I didn’t go into that profession.
